ELA’s Creative Curriculum places focus on all aspects of a child’s growth and development. We believe children display a natural interest of the world around them and are searching for stimulating activities.
We recognize that children learn in different ways; some learn from large group settings by observing, while others learn more from small group, hands-on projects. Our integrated approach to observing and evaluating each child allows us to offer to these children more individual projects and to foster development of each student.
Learning starts from the moment children arrive at ELA.
Our program is designed in such a way that each classroom will allow for active exploration and child-initiated activities. Each day, children participate in a wide variety of innovation and play based activities that are age appropriate. We believe that through play, children experience the joy of discovery and learning for themselves. Our teachers provide guidance and support as they work to enhance children’s play within the classroom. Teachers plan a wide range of curriculum-based activities to be explored during the day.
